Born into a family of 6, my mother Paris King grew up surrounded by siblings so it seemed natural that she should go on to raise a large family of her own. I am the 2nd of Paris’s children – all girls, but Mum has always been like the 5th sister to us.
In her life Mum has conquered more obstacles than most and has come out the other side stronger for it. Watching her overcome cancer with such dignity and grace is something that makes us all incredibly proud and thankful. She is our role model and the one we look to for guidance.
This Mother’s Day we are celebrating all together with 4 generations including the matriarch of the family, our Queen, Patricia King. My mum has taught me how to be a wonderful young mum to my two sons and I feel so blessed to have such an amazing family.
