Creative Director Leo Lin created the brand Leo & Lin in 2017. His designs are elegant, romantic and strong. The latest collection’ Imperial ‘ is a reflection of duality, blending the aesthetics of two eras that had a lasting impact on today’s cultural zeitgeist. It came about through Lin’s love of history and the way it is romanticised through the passage of time.

With ‘Imperial’ Leo & Lin embraces the beauty and femininity of the modern woman whilst harnessing the strength and power of the past. Ancient Rome is woven in with touches of the Victorian era. Think lace, ruffles and luxurious fabrics. Printed silk in the most delicate black and whites and reds and pinks adorn truly romantic dresses possessing a fluidity of movement that is required by today’s woman.

The palette is truly eye catching with startling pieces in the brands internationally recognised signature hue “Ms Moonlight“, a purple hue that is a mix of layered lilac, blues greys and sandstone. Lace in black and white was abundant in this collection , as was black mesh. The audience gasped at the entrance of a gorgeous silky red dress. Elegant florals in black, red and green delighted. There were handkerchief hems and high necklines as well as feminine collared dresses to flatter every woman.

This range was extremely polished and refined and would appeal to an international woman of style with a love of luxury, exquisite fabrics and fluid lines. A breathtaking collection!
