Join in the fun with the 3rd annual Easter Scavenger Hunt, the perfect family friendly event. Visit the three family friendly venues all set up with kids play areas. Starting off at Capalaba Tavern at 11:00 am -1:00 pm with face painting & Easter basket making. Moving to Victoria Point Tavern from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm with a mini scavenger hunt game and craft activities.
Sydney Royal Easter Show
From March 29 to April 3 at Sydney Olympic Park, the Sydney Royal Easter Show is an event not to miss. With classic traditions such as meeting farmyard animals, watching agricultural competitions and tasting delicious food. There’s also a range of activities and performances on throughout the day and continuing on into the evening including rides, trapeze artists, highwire acts and motorbike and truck performances.
The Adelaide International Kite Festival
Head along to Semaphore beach over this Easter long weekend and watch the sky fill with colour, twists and twirls and kites of all shapes and sizes.The festival will feature international guest kite flyers from New Zealand as well as kite flyers from interstate and local South Australian participants as well. There is also a festival marketplace, where wares will be sold and activities will be run.
Bendigo TAFE Bendigo Easter Festival
Filled to the brim with fun and entertainment, the Bendigo TAFE Bendigo Easter Festival runs from March 30 to April 2. Be in the hunt for over 170,000 Easter eggs on Good Friday and Easter Saturday at Vision Australia Easter Egg Hunt. Dance, drums, Lion Teams and 100,000 crackers are all part of the Chinese Spring Festival as Bendigo celebrates its Chinese heritage on Saturday on the Dai Gum San Precinct. Don’t forget to stop by on Easter Sunday to watch the display of colour in the Bendigo Advertiser Gala Parade.
Easter Wonderland, Rockingham, Western Australia
From March 30 to April 1, kids will have a great time exploring Easter Wonderland, with highlights including carnival Rides, Despicable ME Minions, fireworks, stage shows and entertainment. Children will also get the chance to meet the easter bunny and receive free chocolate eggs.
