I’d just arrived home from Japan and realised I was double booked for events. I had a Next Gen Fashion Parade and the launch of Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq. Both were at the same time, on the same night. Lucky for me I have two sons who’ve studied journalism so I asked my youngest son, Luke, to head along in my place. He is a huge fan of Holey Moley , Strike and B. Lucky & Sons. He’d even had his 23rd birthday celebrations at B. Lucky & Sons last year, so I knew he was the man for the job. Here’s what he had to say.
When you were a kid there was a time you and your friends went out to play for the last time and none of you even knew.
Then as an adult, there’s the everyday demands of being a professional, parent and everything else that often means the fun and games are few and far between.
At Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq, you have the chance to rediscover the kid version of you.
The venue is part of the $35 million redevelopment of Toombul Shopping Centre and is brought to you by the creators of B.Lucky & Sons, Holey Moley and Strike.
Think of it as a circus, arcade, eatery and of course bar, all crammed into one.
In just one night, you could go bowling, smash into your friends at the dodgem’s, shoot some hoops, race each other at Mario Kart and enjoy some of the most insta-worthy cocktails around.
Plus, the more tickets you accumulate the better your prizes become. They range from gin pong all the way through to retro boardgames you thought you might never see again.
However, the real highlight of Cirque Electriq comes in the form of the Thrillrider 3D interactive experience.
We won’t give too much away, but it’s your top priority when visiting Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq, aside from the cocktails of course.
So, to finally let the kid version of you out to play again you couldn’t find a better venue than Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq.
