Celebrating International Women’s Day

February 20, 2019

This year’s International Women’s Day campaign theme is #BalanceforBetter. From grassroots activism to worldwide action, we are entering an exciting period of history where the world expects balance. We notice its absence and celebrate it’s presence.

Sunshine Coast

The first of four In Conversation events will take place on International Women’s Day and features guest speakers, Seven Network presenter Jillian Whiting and Chairman of the Board of Directors, The Allison Baden-Clay Foundation Vanessa Fowler.
Vanessa is sister of the late Allison Baden-Clay who was tragically murdered by her husband, a victim of domestic violence in 2012.  Since Allison’s death, Vanessa and her family have been committed to the formation and growth of the Foundation.
In Conversation will include a delicious grazing table style lunch by Something for Catering and beverages followed by a Q and A session and quality entertainment. The theme for the 2019 International Women’s Day is More Power Together and this will be celebrated and resonate on the day.
