Calling all (Brisbane-based) Fashionistas! October is Brisbane Fashion Month.
Presented by Wintergarden, the month features a range of activities sure to get you strutting your stuff like German model Leon Dame at the Paris Fashion Week.
Throughout the month, you’ll be able to visit a Brisbane designer pop-up store and shop from local labels, find a new favourite at one of the seven distinct runways, and network with industry and peers at the annual BFM Business Workshop, presented by Australia Post.
The Business Workshop is back on October 19 from 8am-12noon at The Bromley Room at West Village. This year’s lineup of speakers spans everything from start-ups to media and logistics. You will hear from experts in their field, network with like-minded professionals and have your chance to spruik your business in the two minute pitch – an open-mic segment designed for you to share your challenges and your wins or put the call out for collaboration. This event is a must for fashion business professionals whether you’re a designer, stylist, supplier, consultant, photographer, or student.
Tickets are just $65 including morning tea and a deluxe gift bag.
