Pipit Restaurant is a new contemporary Australian restaurant by award-winning chef Ben Devlin and partner Yen Trinh.
Having grown up in Byron Bay, Ben feels a strong personal connection to establish his young family and first restaurant in this region. Set in the coastal town of Pottsville (between Gold Coast and Byron Bay), Pipit’s menu will be a celebration of the Northern Rivers’ coastal lifestyle, great produce and wood-fired cooking.
Harnessing his existing connections to local landscapes, farmers and producers – Pipit will have a seasonally-changing al-a-carte menu of about 12 dishes, with options of 4 or 7 course set tasting menus for those wishing to have a full creative journey. Supporting the coastal ethos, the wine list is focused on Australian and international wineries located within 150kms of a coastline where mineral content and saline soils help varieties pair well with the style of food.
