#SheSociety rounds up this week’s newest finds

New app – TAP

Tap is an app that allows you to find nearby Refill Stations, so you never have to buy bottled water again. You just open the app and within seconds you’ll find the closest place to refill your water bottle.

Tap’s Refill Station network is partly made up of partnerships with coffee shops and fast-casual restaurants, while also showing you best public places to refill your water bottle around the world. Whether a drinking fountain or a filtered water ATM, you’ll be sure to find it on Tap. We’re expanding and adding new Refill Stations every day to make Tap a convenient and reliable alternative to bottled water.

Unravel Season 4: Snowball

This season’s story swerves away from unsolved murder and into the giddy world of love fraud.

This time it’s personal. Kiwi-born Ollie Wards chronicles how his brother’s whirlwind romance with a charismatic Californian con woman ultimately cost his family more than a million dollars.

With kooky plot twists to rival a Hollywood movie, the seven-episode series follows Ollie from sleepy suburban New Zealand on an international investigation spanning Hawaii, the UK and the US. The world of Lezlie Manukian is full of wild dreams, a lavish lifestyle, big loves and broken promises in exotic locations — a hall of mirrors, equal parts fantasy and real.

It soon becomes clear to Ollie that his family’s story is just one piece of a bigger jigsaw — and the only way he can put the puzzle together is by tracking down Lezlie herself.

Bohemian Skin

Just because our skin changes throughout our life, it doesn’t mean our skincare regime has to. Australia has a saturated skincare market of both international and local brand, both chemically-infused and ‘natural’ – all promising miracle solutions to skincare concerns. In an industry that preys on insecurity, it comes with no surprise that the average person could use multiple personal care products per day. What is a nasty surprise, however, is that when combined with the addition of perfumes, we can place hundreds of individual chemicals on our skin each day through cosmetic use. Considering that out skin is our largest organ, it is alarming to think about what happens to those chemicals when they are absorbed into the epidermis.
Australia skincare brand, Bohemian Skin, have developed a trusty range of skincare products that we can rely on throughout our lives. From combating acne during puberty, to pregnancy-related skincare concerns, to skin ageing later in life; the ethical team at Bohemian Skin have developed a cruelty free, chemically free, no fuss skincare range that’s perfect for all skin types – from sensitive to acne prone. Suitable for use throughout our entire life-cycle (even during breast-feeding!), Bohemian Skin have pioneered a range of natural and vegan friendly skincare products that will revolutionise the way you think about skincare.
