IN LIKE FLYNN follows the story of Errol Flynn and his adventures before his rise to fame in Hollywood.
Thomas Cocquerel as Errol Flynn serves as a guide for a Hollywood producer in the jungles of Papua New Guinea, when young Flynn discovers a trail that will lead to a fortune in gold. Back in Depression-era Sydney, he recruits a motley group of fellow opportunists (Corey Large as Rex and William Moseley as Dook Adams), and the trio set sail to PNG in a stolen boat with the hopes to find fortune.
Their voyage turns dangerous- full of drunken cowboys, corrupt cops and local thugs before being found by the stolen boats owners. As they finally reach PNG they are faced by their biggest challenge- nature.
The film was shot entirely on location in Queensland’s Gold Coast and directed by Russell Mulcahy (Highlander 1 & 2, Resident Evil: Extinction, Teen Wolf).
In what we expected would be a “Indiana Jones” adventure film, IN LIKE FLYNN offers up comedy, romance and action combined.
