Featuring live performances by international music legend Phil Emmanuel with Billy Ryan, jewellery show by Queensland brand Lazurah and Sunfox by designer Lisa Corfield, and fashion show by upcoming designer SUZII K, the cocktail high tea aimed to raise awareness of the plight of young homeless women across Brisbane and Queensland.
The High Tea resulted in 275 guests attending and raised approximately $24,000 to help get these young women and their children off the streets.
The Trust’s CEO, Karen Lyon Reid ecstatic with the results from the High Tea, and is proud of the community coming together to raise funds.
Guests included international music legend Phil Emmanuel, music icon Billy Ryan, local Queensland designers Lisa Corfield and SUZII K, and Sirromet’s Chief Wine Maker, Adam Chapman.
