Its aim is to break stereotypes by staging an inclusive fashion show which shares the designs of local labels. This year RF promises more models, more cutting-edge fashion and a raft of events in the lead up to the runway show on September 1.
Ravishing Fashionistas has shattered records and redefined norms in the fashion industry with their upcoming 2024 fashion runway event. This year’s casting call saw an astounding turnout of over 150 models, a testament to the ever-growing popularity and inclusive nature of this groundbreaking fashion show.
Traditionally, the selection process for Ravishing Fashionistas; runway shows has been highly competitive, with only 20-30 models making the final cut. However, this year marks a bold departure from the traditional approach. The Ravishing team have made a conscious decision to expand the lineup to over 50 models, embracing a diverse array of body types and redefining the standards of beauty within the fashion industry.
Ravishing Fashionistas is committed to showcasing the beauty of diversity. By increasing the number of models, the event aims to provide a platform where all body types are celebrated.

Each model will have the opportunity to walk the runway 2-3 times, a rare and unheard-of chance in the fashion industry, to ensure that their unique styles and personalities shine through.

On August 31st, the spotlight will be on the designers themselves during the highly anticipated Designer Talks, offering insights into their inspirations and creative processes. Running from 11:30 to 1:30 these engaging talks offer an up-close look at the designers and their processes.
All roads lead to the main event, the RF Fashion Show, set to take place on September 1st at the iconic Brisbane Treasury Casino and Hotel Brisbane. It will be a night of glamour and fashion and a must – attend event for fashionistas.
