On Your Marks And Get Ready For Bridge To Brisbane 2023

The Sunday Mail Transurban Bridge to Brisbane is nearly here! 30,000 locals and visitors will take to Brisbane’s streets and the iconic Gateway Bridge for a 4.5km or 10km walk, run, jog or wheel this Sunday 15 October.

There is still time to jump in the cue…. Here are all the details.

10km COURSE

General Entry: $67 per person (Children in prams are free)
Start Line: Southern end of the Gateway Bridge, Murarrie
Start Times:

  • 6:10am – Elite Wheelies
  • 6:15am – Blue Elite Runners + Red Elite Runners
  • 6:20am – VIP Charities
  • 6:25am – Green Runners
  • 6:50am – Yellow Joggers
  • 7:15am – Walkers

4.5km COURSE

General Entry: $57 per person (Children in prams are free)
Start Line:Hercules Park, Hamilton
Start Times:

  • 10am – Purple Elite Runners, Orange Runners, Aqua Joggers
  • 10:10am – Pink Walkers

 

VIRTUAL RACE
Can’t join in person? No worries! You can join Bridge to Brisbane’s Virtual Run.

The Virtual Run is a race that you can run, jog or walk from any location you choose – on your favourite trail, in a local park, around your local neighbourhood loop or on a running track. You get to run your own race, at your own pace.

FUNDRAISING
To date, individuals and teams have raised more than $725,000 for charities across Queensland.

The top individual fundraiser is Peter Madsen, who is raising funds for The University of Queensland’s Queensland Brain Institute, inspired by his grandmother’s journey with dementia. You can read more about his story and donate to QBI here.

Since the first Bridge to Brisbane in 1997, the event has raised more than $14 million for Queensland charities.
