Skin Care That Looks After Your Skin and the Environment

August 11, 2022

Skin care is something that has been a part of women’s lives for years. The hardest part of a skin care routine is making the choice of skin care brand. Finding skin care that suits your skin type, is affordable, doesn’t have any hidden chemicals that are harmful to your skin and body isn’t the easiest thing to do our current day. SheSociety is always looking for good quality skin care that allows everyone the opportunity to purchase and trial it for themselves.  We have come across two products that aren’t just amazing for your skin but are also sustainable. Enbacci – Microdermabrasion Exfoliating Scrub and Ewe Care – Sheep Milk Day Cream. Both of these will have your skin healthy and glowing all while taking care of our environment.

Enbacci – Microdermabrasion Exfoliating Scrub, $45 RRP, available at

Enbacci, tackles the stigma associated with traditional face scrubs by formulating an ocean-safe and skin-friendly Microdermabrasion Exfoliating Scrub, made from a naturally occurring compound called alumina.

Formulated at a skin-friendly pH of 4-4.5 and containing a host of naturally derived ingredients including shea butter, glycerine, and vitamin E, this twice-weekly treatment unclogs pores, improves skin smoothness, restores radiance, and prepares the skin for the penetration of other active ingredients. Rich in moisturising humectants, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids, the creamy formula improves skin barrier function while targeting commonly experienced skin concerns such as discolouration, acne, and loss of firmness.

Amanda from SheSociety has been using this product once or twice a week and found it to work wonderfully providing great results to achieve smoother skin. She mentioned that the texture and feel of this product was the perfect granular size which also didn’t feel stripping or too harsh on the face.

Ewe Care – Sheep Milk Day Cream with Raku Ceramic Vessel, $165 RRP, Sheep Milk Night Cream with Raku Ceramic Vessel, $180 RRP, available at

Australia’s first-ever home compostable luxury skincare brand, Ewe Care harvests the untapped beauty benefits of Awassi sheep milk; an ingredient naturally rich in vitamins A, B, C, D & E, and a host of minerals, proteins, essential fatty acids and exfoliating AHAs.

Housed in refillable and handcrafted ceramic vessels, the creams also combine a number of botanicals exclusive to the Tasmanian region, including Cape Grim Water, Fucoidan Kelp Extract, Coastal Tea Tree Oil and Tasmanian Mountain Pepperberry.

Ideal for ageing, sensitive, dehydrated and compromised skin conditions, the nourishing AM-PM formulas also help reverse moisture loss, restore healthy skin barrier function, improve collagen production, combat redness and acne-causing bacteria, and protect against free radical damage.

Bec from SheSociety loved this product and found it perfect for keeping her skin hydrated throughout winter. The vessel that it comes with was an added bonus to this product making it feel so luxurious. Although it seems like an expensive price to pay, it was worth the money when the hydration of the face during both day and night was evident within the first few days of using. Do make sure you read the instructions provided with regards to the storing of the cream as the process ensures the cream doesn’t dry up in the vessel.
