
My ultimate go-to snack is a smoothie! They are yummy, full of goodness and if done right can provide you with the essential vitamins and minerals you’re body needs. They are also super easy to make so that’s a huge win for the time-poor!
Healthy snacks between meals is an effective way to fit extra nutrients into your diet and prevent overeating at mealtimes, it also helps to keep sugar levels more stable and gives you more energy.
Some store-bought smoothies are loaded with sugar and excess calories so I always prefer to make my own.
The one I am sharing with you today takes roughly 2 minutes to make, is low in sugar, high in vitamins and simply delicious. Need I say anymore?
CHIA SEEDS & BLUEBERRY
Ingredients:
– Add a peeled and sliced banana into a blender with
– A hand full of blueberries
– 1 full glass of almond milk
– Little scoop of chia seeds
– 4 table spoons of Greek yogurt
Blend the ingredients until everything is smooth, pour the smoothie in a glass and serve.
