Outdoor fitness is a great addition to any workout regime and Brisbane is a perfect city to do it. The weather is ideal and there are so many parks/ outdoor areas with fantastic views and facilities to choose from.
This week I took to my favourite place, South Bank, for an easy leg & butt workout. In the below video I demonstrate two versions – the first one for beginners and the second for intermediates.
The exercise comprises of 3 sets of 15 reps of each exercise. Technique is key, keeping abs tight, spine straight, shoulders down and chest open. Knees should not go further than toes.
It was great to have the fab views of the Brisbane river while exercising. I would often get distracted and forget the pain in my quadriceps whilst lunging and squatting!
