SheBrisbane, Queensland’s premier online magazine for women, has undergone a major makeover aimed at taking our unique brand of reporting on women’s issue to a wider, more diverse audience.
And to reflect this exciting new Australia-wide focus we have renamed and rebadged ourselves SheSociety.
All the popular features that made SheBrisbane the place to go to tap into and discuss topical women’s issues remain with still more planned.
Again leading the way, is our popular columnists Alex Bernard, Michelle Beesley, Myjanne Jensen, Ruth Greening, Libby Fordham and Leonor Rivallo, whose special take on women’s lives have built strong personal followings.
There will also be more news and stories about women from far afield whose day-to-day lives have the potential to inspire others, more special events, such as our International Women’s Day lunch in March, promotions and giveaways.
SheSociety Owner and Managing Editor Rebecca Pini said she was proud of the relationship SheBrisbane had been able to build with the women of Brisbane over the past few years and was confident the new-look SheSociety would be even more successful as it broadened its readership.
“As always, SheSociety will be a women’s publication for women and written by women. It is a platform for women from all around Australia to contribute their stories, views and opinions – from her perspective,” said Rebecca.
“The aim is for SheSociety to become a part of our readers’ lives and in addition to providing important information about issues that impact on them as well as becoming a place where women of all ages can raise issues that really matter to them.”
