  1. Brisbane’s Beauty & The Beast Cocktail Experience

An immersive cocktail adventure is coming to Wickham Terrace in Brisbane this August. Based on the Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont fairytale, come along on a 90-minute journey and step into the enchanted and cursed world of Beauty & The Beast, brought to you by the interactive team behind The Wizard’s Den, Beyond Cinema and The Alice. Sessions will run weekly from Wednesday – Sunday, with family friendly sessions also available for kids!

Find yourself in the Beast’s castle with his servants who have become household objects, as he swaps Maurice as a prisoner for Belle. Will you be able to lift the curse that has been put upon the Beast and his servants so they can live happily ever after?

Prepare for a theatrical, alternate reality experience that will take you into a world of madness and talking clocks! 2. National Indigenous Art Fair 2023 (Sydney)

Taking place on Gadigal Land in The Rocks, Sydney on Saturday the 1st, and Sunday the 2nd of July, the National Indigenous Art Fair provides an opportunity for Indigenous artists to come together for a two day market and program of events such as Bushfood Cooking Demonstration and talk, and Mui Mui Bumer Gedlam Dance Group to celebrate NAIDOC Week. Importantly, the NIAF 2023 is an ethical marketplace, with the sale of art, jewellery, homewares, gifts, and Indigenous bush food and plants from First Nations people and art centres from around Australia. 3. Melbourne’s Immersive Mushroom 50 Experience

A never-before-seen immersive audio-visual experience, showcasing Mushroom Group’s rich fifty-year history, has arrived at the Australian Music Vault.  

Working in collaboration with Arts Centre Melbourne, the free display titled Mushroom: 50 Years of Making Noise, will harness The Amplifier’s unique 360-degree experiential room to explore the evolution of Australia’s music scene and the pivotal role Mushroom played. 

Produced by Mushroom Creative House, Mushroom: 50 Years of Making Noise seamlessly merges iconic music from artists such as Jimmy Barnes, Kylie Minogue, Archie Roach, Teskey Brothers, The Rubens, Christine Anu, Skyhooks, Paul Kelly, Ed Sheeran, and The Temper Trap to create a multi-sensory experience. 

Narrated by the late, great Michael Gudinski, the experience runs for approximately four minutes and tells the story of the Mushroom’s five-decade journey through music videos and rare footage from some of Victoria’s most iconic live shows including the 1982 Mushroom Evolution Concert, this year’s record-breaking Ed Sheeran show at the MCG and many more.

5. Mamma Mia! The Musical in Sydney

The immersive family-friendly experience is a journey of the senses through light, colour and sound and will light up the City Botanic Garden for five huge weeks. Audiences are invited to wander a self-guided illuminated 2km trail through the city park, under glowing tree canopies filled with colour, through sparkling tunnels of shimmering light and alongside neon roots bursting from the undergrowth.
